This website, www.bakersfielddba.com is that of the Bakersfield Downtown Business Association (DBA). This statement governs the privacy practices used on this website.

Collection and Disclosing Information

The DBA website has many sections that are open to all users, with no registration required. For these sections, our web server contains no software that automatically tracks e-mail addresses of users. However, our web server does track domain names, web browser type and version and information regarding the nature and extent of our website’s usage.

Users are not required to disclose any personal information in order to view our site. The DBA may gather some personal identifiable information when it is voluntarily submitted by the user. The types of information collected may include your name, email address, phone number, and postal address. This information is used for its intended purpose, and to better serve the users. The management of the DBA authorizes only trained and qualified employees to access the information you choose to provide. Should you choose to inquire about an employment opportunity at the DBA through our on-line job listing, your contact information and/or resume will only be used by the Human Resources Team in considering you for the specified employment opportunity. If you do not wish to receive such communications from the DBA, please use opt out link at the bottom of the broadcast emails or contact Membership Services (information at the bottom of this page). You will be asked such questions as whether you are an DBA member, your full name, current mailing address and type of medium (phone, e-mail, etc.) from which you are opting out.

Refunds

DBA provide no refunds on membership and/or special event tickets.
