Business Association) takes center stage at the 9th Annual Taste of Downtown, transforming the heart of the city into a mesmerizing culinary extravaganza like never before. The 9th Annual
Taste of Downtown will truly be bringing back the fun to downtown, leaving you with unforgettable memories, a satisfied palate, and a burning desire to return year after year, ready to embark on yet another thrilling journey of culinary bliss from downtown restaurant participants.

from the Kern County Public Health Services Department.
Space is limited and will be granted on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you would like to participate, please complete this form no later than Monday, July 31, 2023 in order to confirm your participation. Please obtain a Temporary Food Facility Permit (if required) by August 31, 2023.
Date: Thursday, September 14, 2023
Time: 6 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Location: The Iron Lily Venue, 424- 24th Street and Golden State
Number of Guests Expected: 250
Your restaurant will supply small tastes to help promote your business. Please let us know what you will be serving, as to make sure there is an assortment of food provided for the evening.
Timeframes: Please plan to arrive at The Iron Lily Venue with your non-food items and supplies (be sure to include decorations for your station and promotional materials)
Set up is between 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm and with your food supplies by 5 PM so that you’ll be set up and ready to go by 5:30 PM.
Please Bring:
- Decorations (Please bring whatever decorations you would like to “dress-up” your serving
- Promotional items (Brochures, business cards, etc.)
- Hot Boxes, electric skillets, etc.
- Extension cords
